Hurricane Harvey Updates

UPDATE: (08/31/17, 7:02 pm ET)

We are in the community helping any way we can, and our network and service teams are working around the clock to maintain service and keep our customers connected.

In Corpus Christi, we’re hosting a “Drive Thru, Drop Off” event on Sept. 2 to collect non-perishable food items, diapers & pet food at our store located at 6006 South Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, TX. We also pledged a donation to the Food Bank of Corpus Christi.

And we are also happy to report that nearly all our stores in the area are now open, with just a few in the Houston and Corpus Christi area closed.

Once again, our thoughts are with those impacted by Hurricane Harvey, as well as our customers with loved ones that were in the path of the storm. Please stay safe!

UPDATE (08/29/17, 6:50pm ET)

Cricket Nation is proud to be part of AT&T’s efforts to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey

To help those affected by Hurricane Harvey across parts of Louisiana and Texas, Cricket Wireless is working with our parent company, AT&T, to coordinate volunteers on the ground, secure needed supplies and get network services restored. This recovery will require support from communities and corporations across the country. We are proud to be a subsidiary of AT&T, who just announced $350,000 in donations to aid communities affected by Hurricane Harvey. This donation includes $100,000 to the Greater Houston Community Fund, $100,000 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Fund and $50,000 to the Coastal Bend Community Foundation in South Texas.

Additionally, the AT&T Foundation will match employee donations up to $50,000 each to the AT&T Employee Disaster Relief Fund, which supports the thousands of AT&T and Cricket employees who live in the areas affected by the storms and Team Rubicon, a disaster response veterans’ service organization.
