Employees in Houston completed major home repairs for a disabled woman

In 2016, Jeff and 32 Cricket employees worked with Rebuilding Together to complete vital home repair projects for a retired veteran. This year, they rejoined the organization to help another homeowner.

“Recently, [insert #] of us joined Rebuilding Together to tackle much needed home repairs for a disabled woman,” said Brannan. “We completed big projects to help make her home safer, including replacing her porch. It was in really poor shape and unsafe with beams that wobbled as you walked on them. We hauled it away and built a new one.”

Over just three weekends the team replaced the porch, installed a sturdier back door, put up a new fence, replaced dry rot on the side of the home and more.

“Our team constantly looks for ways to give back to the community we serve,” said Brannan. “Rebuilding Together is great because they help people who lack the resources and ability to help themselves. We get to pitch in to make their life a little safer and happier.”
